Colin welcomed all present to the meeting:

4 Minutes of the last meeting were agreed

 

           

  5 Reports

 

  5.1  Police report had been distributed to Councillor’s prior to the meeting.

        No observations received

.

     

  5.2 County Councillor

        None

 

     6. Planning issues reported with no observations.

 

     7.  Other Issues

Lakeside Contract agreed to continue contact Mr Simon Hilliard.

 

Seed sowing and Bulb planting to resume in Spring, may need to call on Open  Spaces work force at Colburn to assist with ground clearing. Clerk to order Bulbs

using the remainder of the budget. Notice Board at Cookson way to be replaced – Clerk to contact Veteran Carpenters.

 

 

 Clerk to arrange a meeting with Barratt and Trustgreen to discuss open spaces and

 Play Park ownership at Gilesgate (unadopted Land).

       

Clerk to arrange meeting with Jonathan Clubb to meet Councillors for meeting   about the NYC Play Parks. Clerk to re-visit adoption of Play Parks and Report back

to Councillors.

 

 

 

Parish Finances

Councillors approved the Agar which has been published for Public information.

 

Councillors decided not to grant donations for the request by Craccl and Cab – Clerk to ask CAB to provide the usage figures for BWSG. AD declared an interest in the Craccl application.

 

The Budget for 2024/2025 and Precept were agreed

 

The Clerk had forwarded the Monthly balances prior to the meeting

Councillors approved Bacs payments prior to meeting.

Ongoing issues with Barclays Bank have still not been resolved despite ongoing attempts to sign over funds to Unity Bank.  The Parish Council will continue to work on this and new samples of the required signatures will be forwarded to Barclays with a new mandate request.
